This limited production Roero Rosso is from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, grown on a steep hillside in a small MGA vineyard--Valmaggiore--in Canale, in the northern Italian region of Piemonte (Piedmont). Winemaker Angelo Ferrio says it is perfect with risotto, roasts, aged cheeses and truffle-based dishes.
