Native Ligurian red grape Rossese from the Cervo vineyards, between Genoa and Nice, overlooking the sea. The vineyards use organic methods, but are not certified organic. This grape has characteristics of a classic Chianti or Langhe Nebbiolo, but the wine is lighter, less tannic, and a delight with marinara-sauced pizza or pasta.
